Auto-Tune is not free.So...I have to do all that for a free plugin? All I want is pitch correction.

Autotune plug-in requires iLok. iLok only works in host applications that support iLok. Audacity does not support iLok. Melodyne does not officially support Audacity, but there is a possibility that it will work or work partially. Or, it can run as a stand-alone application.
The Auto-Tune website says "Not compatible" with Audacity, and I'm not sure if there is a stand-alone version.
