Re: Help a noob
You seem to be doing the microphone and room thing OK, so you can probably sneak a little echo in there. Just on your voice and don't go nuts, the object is not for it to sound like a bathroom. Re: Can't Install Gsnap
Okay. I got it. Gsnap is in my effects now. Doesn't seem to correct pitch or auto tune flat or sharp notes, but I'm sure this is just user error. I'll check tutorials on youtube.

Re: Problems with installing VST and AU plugins
Audacity already has Effect > Reverb (based on the original Freeverb). After downloading Freeverb3 VSTs, I attempted installing them in Audacity 2.0.5 by dragging the VSTs to the directory /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST, along with the .xml files that accompanied them. However, each time Audacity scans...

Re: use autotune
The real antaras Auto-Tune? I don't know why it doesn't work but it's not desiged to be used with Audacity. Here is a list of officially supported hosts for Auto-Tune. (Audacity is listed as "incompatible"). Most commercial VSTs don't officially support Audacity... Sometimes they will work, but most...

Removing/smoothing a natrual voice crack/horse sound.
I don't know if this is even doable. I am trying to cut out a cracking or horse sound coming naturally from a voice. Example. http://starbolts.blogspot.com/2013/06/comic-showcase-18-new-warriors-1.html Maybe it's just me who is bothered by the voice. Anyone have any suggestions for how using audacit...
