...It appears to be a 64-bit plug-in and the Windows version of Audacity is 32-bits so it may not work. It's the plug-in developer's responsibility to make their plug-in work with various hosts. For example, if you go to the Auto Tune website you'll see a list of supported DAWs. If Audacity isn't of...

Are you asking a question, or trying to reply to one?

Re: Adding Autotune Plug-in

The Aneteres Website clearly says it's NOT COMPATIBLE with Audacity.

If you want to use Audacity, try GSnap or KeroVee.

Or, Melodyne can run stand-alone (and from what I've read it's at least as good as Auto Tune and probably better).

The auto tune that I am trying to use is Auto-Tune+Time_VST.dll but every time I try to enable it on audacity, the whole audacity program crashes without installing it. I was wondering how I could enable it without audacity crashing. Thanks!...

Re: Vocal drift

You can try GSnap (FREE), the famous* Auto Tune ($100 and up), or Melodyne ($100 and up). I've never used any of them. Nether Auto Tune or Melodyne support Audacity, but I believe you can run Melodyne stand-alone. * Auto Tune is sort-of famous for being used as a weird vocal special-effect but most ...

Re: Installing plugin Auto-Tune

Autotune plug-in requires iLok. iLok only works in host applications that support iLok. Audacity does not support iLok. Therefore, it is not possible to run Autotune plug-in in Audacity. iLok is a "security" (digital rights management) device that prevents plug-ins that are iLok protected from runni...
