Re: Behringer UGC102 delay and latency
One way that you could solve this would be to use a program that supports "ASIO" for doing the recording (you can still use Audacity for editing if you wish). ASIO allows software playthrough with very low latency, but due to licensing restrictions Audacity cannot be shipped with ASIO supp...

The input/output devices are showing up in Audacity as 'USB Audio CODEC'. I don't know if that's relevant or not. Device Manager say...

Re: Latency when recording voice through USB mic
... The choice is that either you just listen to the sound being recorded acoustically (not via the headphones), or via the headphones with a delay. This is a problem common to all USB microphones unless they have a headphone socket built into the mic itself. If you use a recording program ...
Re: no sound
... speakers), or 2) Enable "software playthrough" (near the bottom of the Transport menu) Note that with option 2 there will be a slight delay (possibly around 1/2 second) before the sound comes out, but that should not be a problem.

Re: Overdub recording problems - distorted sound
... buggy Beta? When I enable software playthrough, I can hear the first track fine and record over it--the problem is that the recording is so delayed that I hear my mic input about a half second later. A delay with software playthrough is expected. Have you tried this Frequently Asked Question ...
