Hi Gale -
I saw both of those links and walked through them. My recording devices properties doesn't have an "enhancements" tab and I did walk through all the other settings in the other link. Anyone else with an HP PC with Beats Audio having a similar issue?

Leslie speaker sounding recording
I'm a long time user of Audacity but my PC failed and I'm now on a new PC. I downloaded Audacity 2.0.3 and the PC I have is Windows 7 / Beats Audio HP PC. I tried to record audio from my sound card and the recording (not the audio I hear when I record it) sounds a bit like it's playing through a les...

Re: How to layer vocals from one song over audio from anothe
That's what I thought initially. I think the problem is one track ran out of music too soon. The only way I know to solve that is compose more music. I heard this done at a dance club once. Re: Creating a Non-stop Audio CD.

Re: Song Editing without Music generated by Musical Instrume
I agree with you. It might be difficult to remove completely the music generated by musical instruments only giving the Vocals in the audio track. This is primarily because there are many musical instruments viz Guitar, Piano, Drum beats, Violin, Saxophone, Trumpet etc which may be playing with the ...

Re: Improving "Clip Fix"
I still think improving Clip Fix should be on the agenda. I agree. Nyquist, because of its rapid development capacity, will be useful for prototyping algorithms. It is likely to be impractically slow for recursive processing of samples, but I think that the specific limitation highlighted by Quant'...
