Re: Analyzing beats in an AUP

For a click track, you should be able to clearly see each of the clicks. The "Timeline" at the top of the track window will show you exactly how long a minute of audio is. Count the number of beats in one minute of audio and you have the exact BPM.

Re: Will 2.0.03 measure seconds to 6 decimal places?

It occurred to me that there is another format that is actually missing: Percentage There's an infinite number of formats "missing". Julian days : hh : mm tP x 10^nn ss + nanoseconds moments beats at 120 bpm 4/4 bars + 120 bpm 3/4 bars + 120 bpm 5/4 bars + 120 bpm 6/6 bars + 120 bpm 4/4 bars + 121 ...

Re: Quiet chh sound at beginnin of mosts beat

In a song, there is a chh sound from the percussion at the beginning of most beats. Once I started noticing that, that is what my mind focuses on and I can no longer listen to the rest of the song. Pre-echo ? ... Pre-echo ... is a digital audio compression artifact where a sound is heard before it ...

Re: Record lossless

Why should I export it as wav? I play a file which sounds to me like its very clear and I just want to record it with audacity and export it. I will probably export it as ogg or mp3. However, the recording has some problems as mentioned above, first high pitched (now again btw.) and sometimes very ...

Re: How to improve sound quality and decrease file size?

...decrease file size... Use mono rather than stereo if possible. Reduce sample-rate to 16kHz for telephone conversation (maybe even lower). Reduce mp3 bit-rate to the lowest you can tolerate, (this will degrade the audio quality). In addition to that: * Be sure you are using the latest version of ...

Re: Help running time code on channel without bleedover

Does your computer have the curse of "Beats Audio"? If so, then it's very likely that there is either a setting related to that, or the sound card is just too trash to achieve decent performance. If the latter, then you'll need to upgrade the sound card (which need not be very costly).
