I have just run into the same problem, after installing Audacity 1.3.5 (Beta). I was previously using version 1.3.3 without any problems. I did not uninstall this version before installing 1.3.5. Could that be a cause of problems? As reported by rackwe, I can play the file in other MP3 players. But ...
