Re: Tone Generator Frequency Resolution
I'm trying to generate a wav encoded in aac format which will eventually combine with my progressive 59Hz video frame and output seamlessly. So, timing of the audio frame is important for me to have a seamless output. Meaning, the total time of audio and video frames matches. Still complicated?

Re: Tone Generator Frequency Resolution
When you mentioned that the tone generator is accurate to at least 0.001Hz and probably much more, what does much more means? If I tried to key anything more than 0.001Hz on the audiocity, it will always round off, so I have no way to check how much more it can generate? The reason I'm asking is I w...

Can anyone tell me what is the frequency resolution for the Tone Generate?
Can audiocity generate this signal example: 1001.123456Hz?

Re: mpeg-1, mpeg-2 audio samples.
You can use the audiocity mpeg-2 audio encoder, this is working.
Go File> Export> Option to set the MP2 bit rate
Save the file and congrads: You just created your first MPEG-2 audio format.

Re: Tone Generator Amplitude Setting
Hi, For those actually interested in the setting of audio level, the following is the conversion. 20log ( x/refrence) = 0dBu First step is to find the reference level If supposing 0dBu also equivalent to -24dBFS We will get 20log (x/reference) = -24dBFS (x/reference) = inverse log (-24/20) (x/refere...

Tone Generator Amplitude Setting
Hi,
I would like to set seperately two stereo track of sinewave 1kHz with 0dBu & 10dBu level. But, the amplitude setting in the tone generator is from 0 to 1. How can I configure this 0dBu & 10dBu level. Take note 0dBu is equivalent to 0.7746v. Thank you.
