Re: burning .wav files to cd
Audacity will handle the downsampling to 16-bit on Export fine and dandy for you - it does it fine for me . If you have'nt still got the Audacity project, just open your 32-bit WAV file and Export it the Red Book standard. It is generally thought to be good to record in 32-bit if you are going to be...

Re: burning .wav files to cd
For WAVs for a CD you need to Export to the Red Book standard - 44.1kHz PCM 16-bit, stereo . You are burning a msic CD and not a data CD are you? The two are quite differrent - a music CD doesn't actually contain WAV files - but rather has its own format. And you are using CR-Rs and not CD-RW's? WC

Re: How can I "export selection as mp3" on all tracks?
You should be able to select the same time-slice from each track by clicking in the top track and dragging across (for the time) and downwards to the bottom track.
Then you should be able to export selection to WAV or MP3 for your test.

Re: adding an intro
Intro Use the Time-Sift tool (the icon with the horizintal line with arrowhead at each end) to shift your original tack along for the lenght of the intro (and probably plus a bit more - you can remove any gap later. Move cursor back to time zero and record your intro - it will create a new track Ou...

In iTunes Edit>Preferences>Advanced>Burning you will see a dropdown called Gap Between Songs. Set this to none.

Re: How do I label tracks if the album is mixed continuously
Yes you just have to listen to it to find where the tracks break. When you find the approximate location, zooming in will help you decide where to place the track marker. BTW: if you are planning to make a CD from the track files, do make sure that your CD burning software is not set to put trailing...

Re: Exporting to iTunes
All you should beed to do is to Export your poject as a set of music files - I would suggest putting it in it's own (possibly temporary) folder.
Then in iTunes use the Add Folder to Library command to import all the files from that folder.
