are you using special characters (like /) in your labels - in track 8 label in particular? If Audacity encounters such characters in a label it stops the export at that point.

It is possible that your virus software is interfering - can you set it to ignore/trust .aup and .au files? Or you could consider temporarily turning off you virus software while running Audacity - but you will probably want to disconnet from t'interweb and any other network before you do that (and ...

You should get a dialogue box when you do the export which will enable you to set thye ID3 tag information.

you could also try connecting your ION to your hifi with the RCA cables supplied. Do you trhen get the L-R problem? If you do then it's likely to be the cartridge or its downstream wiring - if it's ok than it's possible that the ION's onboard soundcard or its USB services are at fault.

I'm surprised by this because the timere record in 1.3 has always worked extremely well for me - absolutely accurate. Are you sure that you are not confusing the stop time and the duration - you can set either of these but each will affect the other.
