Re: Status of Opus support?
Is Opus support on the TODO list, and if so, when can we expect to see it (to Import|Export and convert files)? We have a P2 bug logged for Opus export: https://bugzilla.audacityteam.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2166 P2 rating means it could (but only could) be a release blocker for the upcoming 2.4.0 (that...

They would be sequential, not simultaneous. I would, for example, like to record 3am to 2am into one file th...

Re: Timer recording works well but...
I patiently await with worm on tongue. Don't hold you breath ... I've been waiting for quite a long time now ;) I will try to get our lead developer James interested in this again - he thought about it a few months back but then got sidetracked onto other more important stuff. Would you like me to ...

Re: Export Multiple - First One Fails
Ar you sure you don't have a very short range label rather than a point label ? It's all too easy when moving a point label to turn it int a range label and it's almost impossible to collapse them back to a point label - don't ask me how I know :? One way to check is to use File > Export > Export La...

Re: Marking mistakees
yes, just drop a label there
Ctrl + M will drop a label at the current record (or playback) position
Ctrl + B will drop a label at the current cursor position
See: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/label_tracks.html

Re: Timer recording works well but...
There has been a long-time proposal in the Audacity Wiki for this (I wrote that proposal, I am a big users of Timer Record). We are a very small team of part-time volunteers who run this open source project - and sadly none of out tiny team of developers has foun time to pick this up yet. I will con...

Re: How to extend boundary/region?
The idea that if by accident I trim something out, I have to completely re-import the file and attempt to drop it back into place, is absolutely insane. It depends how far back in the editing you a) made the mistake b) are prepared to lose edits after the mistake Provided you haven't closed Audacit...

Re: How to extend boundary/region?
Nothing has changed in this respect over those three years - Audacity remains (and is extremely likely to remain) a destructive sample editor and it is not a DAW. If a destructive editor suits your production workflow needs then Audacity may well suit you - and you can't argue with the price 8-) How...

Re: 2.4.0 link
That's right, sorry. We do post Release Candidates as we near the end of a development cycle (expect one, or some, soon).
