That was possible in previous versions of Audacity but not the current one (2-3-3).

And it will be possible again in the soon to be upcoming 2.4.0 release (I QA tested that functionality)

You can always use whatever version of FFmpeg you want and then use export using (external program)

I know this (mostly) works as I have been QA testing it for some recent bug-fixes.

You may be pleased to know that this bug has just been fixed - just in time for 2.4.0 I just tested it as OK on W10 and Mac - it just needs a Linux test now https://bugzilla.audacityteam.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2382 Timer record: if a labels are present recording starts at last label position - not curs...

Use View > Toolbars and check it on

Or use View > Toolbars > Reset Toolbars to set all toolbars to default.
