Re: Exporting measurements?

Re: recordings are flattened

Re: Giving a song more luster

I was going to suggest looking on YouTube, from where you could have recorded it with Audacity - but the version posted there appears to be the same low quality as the one you posted (and it labels it as a RARE recording). Re: Normalize 'labels' individually

Re: MP 3 conversion, available programmes please

Nigel, the reason that people want MP3 is for use on portable playback devices iPods/MP3 players or even PCs. The reason for this is that the compression enables the MP3 to be significantly smaller than the "equivalent" WAV file by a factor of around 10 or more (depending on te MP3 bitrate...

Re: Audacity will not run, Exported mp3s will not play.

What I would do is try deleting your Audacity configuration file which is where Audacity stores your preferences. You can find it in C:Documents and Settings <your_user_name> Application DataAudacityaudacity.cfg Audacity will create a new cfg file when you restart it - note that this will reset all ...

Re: Delete Selection

I tested with 1.2 - and with zoom fully in I was able to delete even a single sample, once it was selected properly.

Re: How Do I Combine Tracks?

I assume that you mean one after the other - and not all playing at the same time (Audacity can do either). In which case, just select each track in turn and move it along the timeline to the required position using the Time Shift Tool (icon is a horizontal line with an arrowhead at each end), test ...
