Go to Edit > Preferences > Import / Export - and check on the box at the bottom that says Show Metatada Editor prior to export setup - this should have been set on by default in1.3.x - so I'm surprised you don't get it showing. BTW: you can always bulk update MP3 tags with common data on a set of MP...
