I suspect that you are creating a data CD with WAV files on it - which is why it will play on your PC. What you need to do is to create a Music CD, and for this you will need some CD burning software like Nero or RecordNow. I don't use Vista - but from what I remember reading other postings under Vista control isover the sound is passed from Audacity to the Sound services under Vista and your soundcard & driver s/w - so that's probably why it doesn't show the mixer toolbar.
