Re: Transferring MD tracks to I-tunes library

Another route would be to get an external USB soundcard - the Edirol UA-1EX that I have handles digital SPDIF direct from my MD deck via an optical "cable".

And iTunes makes a great Windows juke-box for playinng MP3s - you ca=n download it for free, you don't need to buy an iPod.

WC, 100 GBP converts to some $182 US as of today. Yes, but we typically get charged pounds for dollars for the same goods. For example a $50 pair of Levis in the US will retail in the UK for £50 - a $10,000 Harley-Davidson will retail for £10,000 etc. That's why you get so many Brits flying to the ...

Re: freezes 100% CPU / generating spectrum for some FLAC fil

maybe this could have been avoided if i first uninstalled the 1.2.6 version But maybe not. When you uninstall 1.2 it leaves the registry settimgs alone (in 1.2 on Windows the registry is used to hold the Audacity Preferences settings). When you install 1.3 with 1.2 already installed Audacity copies...

This thread may help you: http://audacityteam.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=6383

Re: Setting Audacity for WireWire input?

I'm not an Apple person - but I seem to remember from reading other postings that the problem may be with the 24-bit setting - IIRC Apple Macs seem to have a problem with this in Audacity (not sure whether this is a bug or a "feature"). From looking at the specs and the manual fgor your bo...

Bonnie,

see my response to your other posting - please don't double post, it wastes everbody's time and confuses the forum structure.
