Re: numark lp 2cd or ion lp 2 flash???
ION and Numark are basically the same company. The last time I looked at these Numark produced slighly better variants with heavier platters (the ION ones are normally plastc) and better arms and cartridges. I started out with an ION iTTUSB - the electronics worked well, but eventually I abandoned i...

Re: CD's don't work in some players
Cosby, I use TDK CD-R80 I buy them by the 100 on a spindle - cost in the UK c. £11-12 per 100 i.e 18-20 US cents per disc. Re: Volume issue with converting vinyl
When you plug in a USB device like this, Audacity hands over complete control over the sound services to the USB device. You may find that your USB TT has a gain control on it somewhere - for example the ION iTTUSB has a little knurled knob undeneath at the back.

Re: Playback Problems

Re: Downloading and saving BBC 7 programmes
BBC7 broadcast digitally compressed audio (they do this to fit more channels into the digital spectrum) and the file you have downloaded will also be compressed - if you the compress this further to MP3 you will increase the compression and it will sound worse - you will get digital artifacts
