Re: editing a saved project
It depends whether you did any housekeepung and removed the project files (.aup file, folder - and a lot of little .au files in the folder) - If you still have those, and haven't moved them around, then you should be able to re-open tam - and then export as WAV. A tip for the future: when you have f...

Re: Setting Audacity to Auto Record on a date/time?
Thanks for the update Joe, I'm still using 1.3.5 - So I too may have not found it on 1.3.6 when I upgrade - useful info.

Re: Setting Audacity to Auto Record on a date/time?
You can't do it in 1.2, but you can in 1.3 - where the developers have added timed recording functionality. In 1.3 you access it from Tracks > Timer Record - it works well, I use it a lot.

Re: How do I drag music from Audacity to Media Player in ord
Basically you need to export a set of 16-bit PCM WAV files - and then use some CD burning software to creat a "music" CD (not a "data" CD). For more detail see: http://audacityteam.org/wiki/index.php?title=Transferring_tapes_and_records_to_computer_or_CD and: http://audacityteam....

Re: Chains: Best way to delete the telephone "hang-up click"
If it was only a few clicks I would suggest just doing it by hand withe the Repair effect - but your posting implies that you have a lot of clicks to deal with. You might then want to consider Brian Davies' excellent ClickRepair software - it's not free but it is cheap for what it does - and you get...

Re: command-line interface rather GUI?
Different forums have different rules about re-posting vs. reviving old Zombie threads, and some forums frown on replies that just say "thanks" because they bump the threads. aaelghat, Actually we tend to like the "thanks" postings on this forum - as it lets us, and other reader...

Re: Use chains to export MP3's to the same directory?
....I think I can have iTunes read that folder, but rather than organize things based on my folder hierarchy, iTunes seems to glom everything together into the music library. IIRC can't you set your iTunes so that it doesn't do the "glomming" into your iTunes library - but rather referenc...

Re: Massive Distortion/Digitization
You would be much better off working with WAV files during your production process - and only producing the MP3 file as the final output production file (though I would still keep a copy of the WAV file(s) as well, just in case I needed to do any further editing work later. And do make sure in futur...
