If it's stuck on the taskbar (but I don't see how after you have rebooted) - then you could try right-clicking on he Audacity tab in the taskbar and selecting either Restore or Maximize.

No - this was a good piece of analysis on your part. With some antivirus programs you can set them to ignore/trust certain files. If you can do that with your you can get it to ignore.trust all .aup and .au files (Audacity projrct files/soundclips) - amd that way you should be able to keep your anti...

Before you get all joyful jumping up and downey, it crashed for a reason. Koz Actually Koz I'm not convinced. Ok - so in 1.3.6 we have the natty little nested dropdown segmented lists of Effects - but where oh where is the Repair effect. I can't see it anywhere - am I missing something?
