Re: Text label functions not working in 1.3.7
I finally figured it out: I was running audacity in clean speech mode. After turning that off, it worked again. Is that an intended behavior? Hi Frank, I suspect not - but I have no experience of using cleanspeach - and I am not a coder. I will ping a link to this thread to one of the developers to...

Re: Recording After Win XP SP3 is installed
I'm puzzled because I run 1.3.7 - and my Microsoft upgrade history shows that I received the upgrade on 13Dec08 on my laptop XP-PRO - and I can still recode streaming audio perfectly ok. Whether you can record from streaming audio depends entirely upon the combination of soundcard/device driver for ...

Re: Text label functions not working in 1.3.7
I'm puzzled - both work fine on my 1.3.7 running under Windows XP-Pro on my laptop and Windows XP-HE on my desktop.

Re: When will 1.3.x be out of Beta version
1.3.7 is pretty stable now - and it is rumoured that 1.3.6 was even more stable. I use 1.3 all the time now and have done so for over a year with no real problems. One of the things that will delay the release of 1.4 is getting the documentation (manuals and Wiki) up to date. Bu I believe that the d...

Do you want to post that as a Feature Request Koz?kozikowski wrote:

Re: Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron - lots of bugs
@Brendo613 - yes but 1.3.5 is now an old superseded version (two versions out of date). If you want to test bugs, you need to be on the latest vn. which is now 1.3.7 - and then report these to the developers. This page from the Wiki http://audacityteam.org/contact/ tells you where to post bug report...

Re: Bumped (disconnected) sound card during recording; cant
For future reference I would recommend using the beta version - the crash recovery is much improved in 1.3.
1.3 is now fairly stable - I no longer use 1.2 at all. I use 1.3.7 - some posters on this forum rcommend sticking at 1.3.6 as that appears to be slighly more stable than 1.3.7.

Re: Continuous Album
Yes you should be able to, but whether you can or not is not down to Audacity - it depends on your particular CD burning software. Some of these, but not all, allow you to set a flag for a continuous album - otherwise thay normally add the 2 second gap that is prescribed in the Red Book standard for...

Re: v. 1.2.6 installs but won't open
There is a posting at the end of this thread http://audacityteam.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=153 with a link to a little utility which will clean your registry of the Audacity entry.
