You might want to experiment with Brian Davies's software. He has two packages: one for click removal and the other for noise/hiss removal. If you Export a WAV file to the original filename (the one you opened or imported) then it is perfectly possible to over-write the original (possible, but poor programming practice on the user's part). Changing the USB port can often help - sounds like you may have a dodgy USB port - at least you have one that works. Sometimes though it's jus a poor connection, wiggling (gently) the USB plug in its socket or just withdrawing it an re-plugging it can sometimes help. And generally it is not advised ...

You're probably using a special character in the file-name/track-name (of the third track ...). Try sticking to alpha-numeric and underscore.
