does that mean that you consider this FR to be redundant?

Re: Reverse RIAA curve
Aahhhh .....
I've just seen Bill's updates in the manual for the upcoming 1.4/2.0 release - and see why this request has been posted right now.
Awkward to explain to users how to reverse the curve and awkward for users to do the work ....
a reverse RIAA would simplify things.

Re: Cutting and pasting the label track
Mark,
yes you can install a portable Audacity from a USB drive - see this page from the Wiki: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/index.php? ... e_Audacity
And no you don't get the regular interval labelling in 1.2.x - it was a new feature intruduced in one of the 1.3 releases.

Re: Cutting and pasting the label track
You really need to upgrade to 1.3.9 wher a new feature has been added to make this much easier
In 1.3 you can go to Analyze > Regular Interval Labels and then use the dialog box to set up your required labelling.
You can get 1.3.9 from here: http://audacityteam.org/download/beta_windows

Re: How to edit mp3 tracks from my itunes library
1. I just obtained an ION Tape2PC unit, which I'm using to convert my (hundreds of) cassette tapes into digital format, so I'll be able to access and listen to the music on my ipod and through my computer. My understanding is that on Windows, ION only converts to mp3, and then adds them to my itune...

Re: 4-track/Vinyl Recording: No signal! Please help...
So tell us what happens when you connect just your Numark to the PC (via the USB) and try to record an LP - does that work? And how are you planning to manage the delivery of 4-channels of audio down a stereo cable into the Numark stereo input? Does yur Tascam have a stero output mixing the signal d...

Re: Reverse RIAA curve
Bill, there is a posting in the Wiki Feature Requests page that relates to this, which says: "Equalization: Automatic 78 RPM EQ from RIAA-recorded 78's: Flattens the curve to negate the RIAA EQ then applies the required 78 RPM EQ in one button press. Add more 78 RPM presets to facilitate this. ...

Re: How to edit mp3 tracks from my itunes library
I want to be use Audacity to edit some of those files -- e.g., edit out the first 5 seconds, or 50 seconds of a song. If all you want to do is trim the beginning and ends of songs then you don't need to use Audacity at all. In iTunes there is a setting (per song) whuch tells iTunes when to start pl...
