Re: Trying to, automatically, split some audio file
You need Audacity 1.3 - one of the additional features is the ability to place labels at regular time intervals. You wil find it in 1.3 in the dropdown from Analyze.
You can download 1.3 from here: http://audacityteam.org/download/

Re: Toolbar Language
Yup, the developers changed the interface in the 1.2 => 1.3 transistion.
There is a separate section of the forum for users of 1.3.x - as you have seen there is a difference between the towo variants.

Then you need the Interface tab, which is the third one in from the right. Language is selected from the only drop-down list in the dialogue box...

Re: multiple exports and track overlaps…
This is a bug that was introduced in 1.3.10 - you should not be seeing it in 1.2.x
If you are using 1.3 eitther try 1.3.9 - or if you are feeling more adventurous the nightly builds of 1.3.11

Re: Podcast editing
IIRC it was required for one of the 1.3 releases for a while - but I thought that the developers had removed the need for taht in the latest releases.smrki wrote:I don't have net framework 3.5 that seems to be the problem. Is this effect a part of the newer release of audacity?
