Re: DVD-Audio
It is best if I go to File/Save Project As and get a .AUP then make the .WAV's and MP3's. Can I delete the data files? John, yes once you've got your WAVs and MP3s, and backed them up, you can delete the project files (the .aup and the associated folder tha contains all the .au files - odd that the...

Re: MP3 exports falter and restart in iTunes, iPod
I originally looked at the ION turntables and figured that I would be better off with a higher quality turntable, such as the audio-technica, or a preamp with a USB out. Randy SBS, yes I agree - I started out with an ION ITT-USB bought for the same "ease of use" in a single relatively por...
Re: Save as
Possibly - I responded to a similar post yesterday that I have been experiencing this occasionally (on 1.3.9) - but not reproducible enough to determine if it is a bug - or the circumstances that cause it.

Re: Startup Problems - no stereo, no audio out
The Griffin is a USB device: USB devices have a habit of hijacking the entire sound – output as well as input – and they don’t tend to have loudspeakers (hence “no sound”). What you need to do is to direct the Windows sound output to your PC's soundcard Control Panel>Sounds and Audio Devices>Audio>S...

Re: How to change from .dvf to wav...
Don't bother Saving the project - just Export stright to WAV. I am working on my wifes 45rpm singles right now and I pop them straight out to WAV after recording and a bit of editing - not an Audacity project in sight (except of coutrse the temporary work files that Audacity uses while I record and ...

Ok - is there a gain control (volume control) on your turntable (some have them some don't) - if so try turning this down.

Re: Error message
I have been getting this error message occasionally (on 1.3.9) where the filename is entirely "legal" characters. It seems to clear itself up the next time I try and save - and is one of those "incidents" which is not reproducible to order - so hard to identify as a bug or not. I...
