Re: Losing One Key Instrument in Recording

See my reply in your other thread: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=23975 BTW it would have been much better not to have double-posted the same problem in two different treads - for a start it risks fragmentation of the resposnses - and what's more it drives the forum elves mad...

Re: Help!! I don't know how to play tracks in a certain orde

Just use the Time Shift tool to slide the tracks along the timeline to the required position - the tool has the icon which is a small horizontal arrow with arrowheads at both ends - and don't forghet to revert to the normal cursor once you have finished with the time-shift tool.

Re: Space Bar action

You should be able to manage this through Edit > Preferences > Keyboard - this will let you edit the key-bindings.

Re: Remove silence marker

There's a new feature in the Analyze function in 1.3.11 called Sound Finder iit's based on the Silence Finder, but rtaeher than marking the silences it marks the chunks of sound with "range labels" - See this recently added bit in the manual http://manual.audacityteam.org/index.php?title=A...

Re: Refusal to burn........

Have I been suckered into buying a pup? Opinions will be welcomed. Not necessarily - but it is a case a Caveat Emptor (as the lawyers say) - however if it is not "fit for purpose" i.e.doesn't work properly then in the the UK you are entitled to your monety back. I wouldn't personally buy ...
