I have 2 PCs with XP - one will record straming audio the other won't. Just one little thing to be aware of - there is a little elusive bug that rears its head from time to time with the "Timer Record" feature - whereby Audacity does not honour the end time and just carries on merrily recording. It can only be stopped by aborting the process. You can then re-...

It seems odd to me for it to be a USB device problem since it has L/R inputs..why merge the channels before sending it to the computer? /shrug ..its their entry level model so I guess it's possible. I certainly should be capable of delivering stereo - one of the regular forum elves uses the UCA202 ...

If you have no pre-amplification, and in particulat no RIAA EQ applied, then the audio will sound thin and will seem lacking in bass.
