Fn+Left-arrow - that's ideal.
Good to see a satisfied "customer" 8-)

It was a useful learning for me too ...

There already is a shortcut for Skip to Start - which is Ctrl+Home
I think that should be just "Home" (it is on Linux - "Ctrl + Home" does nothing on Linux)
OOPS yes you're quite right, same on Windows - I should put my reading glasses on :geek:

If your Mac doesn't have a Home key you can always reassign the shortcut for Skip to Start.
A bit of googling tells me that on Mac Fn+Left-arrow is equivalent to Home - and testing on my Macbook confirms that)

Re: Double-click stop to reset

It's extremely useful and I couldn't care less what Neilsen says but if developers are against using double-click on principle then why not make it a shortcut via a different method. There already is a shortcut for Skip to Start - which is Ctrl+Home (on Windows) On Mac it is just Home - though just...

The recommended version for Catalina is now Audacity 2.4.2 https://www.audacityteam.org/download/mac/
And 2.4.2 runs fine and is stable on my Macbook Pro with Catalina 10.15.5

Re: Muti OS users & hello

I think Joe means the OS that is part of your Forum profile.

Mine is set to Windows 10 (as that is my production and native environment) - but I also run a Catalina Macbook Pro for QA testing.

My pet peeve has been cured. The timer record starts where I set the cursor! Yeah! Glad you're happy with that 8-) (In my dreams) Any thoughts on being to set a second Timer record? Right now, I have to be present to restart the recording between 2am and 3am Sunday morning in order to capture the s...

Re: User friendlyness went downwards

scrolling min/max window while trying to go up in the effects tabs I'm not able to reproduce that, but I'm not on Windows. Perhaps someone on Windows can try to reproduce the issue. I could try - but I can't figure out any steps to reproduce from what is written in the original post. arPos - could ...
