Re: Bulk generating silence on multiple mp3 tracks?
Are you aware if it make a difference if I was working from the original CDs, rather than the impoted mp3s? Yes it would - as you would be getting lossless adudio files from the CDs (assuming that is that these are normal type CDs and not CDs with MP3s on them). An avenue you might want to look at ...

Re: How do I continue recording on the same track?
With 1.2 all you can do is hit the Pause key to temporarily stop recording and then Pause again to restart recording. If you upgrade to 1.3.12 (and I strongly recommend that you do) - then you will find a new Append Record command - keyboards shortcut is Shift+Record or Shift+R You can get 1.3 from ...

Re: Importing raw files into audacity gives a lot of clippin
Do you have anyway of playing the music? Do you for instance still have the game and will that let you play the music? If so you should be able to record it with Audacity. It will have the disadvantage of going Digital to Analog (when yoo play it ) and then back to digital again when you record it i...

Re: Louder sound in right channel, when recording Casettes,wh

(Or it could be down to a poor contact at a plug/socket). You can fix it by using Effect >...

Re: recording setup
... I think that I will simplify by purchasing a separate RIAA preamp to bypass the receiver. Do you have a favorite? A recommendation? I saw one today on the Internet from ART - - - a small unit for about $40, with a frequency response of 10hz - 50khz, with .01% THD. I use the ARTcessories DJ-PreI...

Re: Recording - prevent new tracks everytime i hit record
No you're right - Audacitity doesn't record like a tape recorder - it is more sophisticated than that in that it is a multi-track recorder. What you can do to achieve what you want is to identify the portion you want to replace, you may find it helps to identify the offending part by creating a labe...
