My father moved the television to one corner of the room apart from the radiogram (as instructed by the Beeb) - the BBC broadcast one channel on the radio...

I'm running OS 10.5.8. I downloaded Audacity 1.2.5. That's the right version for me, yes? I'm a PC Windows user not a MAC user the download site says: For Mac's depending on processor 1.2.5 (Intel) or 1.2.6 (PPC) but not it also says: 1.3.12 (Universal Binary) best version for OS X 10.6 In spite of...

Re: Question about effects

With high treble and no baas - it sounds likely that you are not using a phono preamp (which you need otherwise the necessary RIAA equalization will not be done).

Does your Soundlab TT have a built in pre-amp? Or do you have an external pre-amp/amp?

Re: recording from a portable tapedeck

So is this new computer a laptop by any chance. If so does it actually have a line-in? Many laptops only have a mic-in these days. If so you could be acandidate for one of the external soundcards that we have reviewed in this sticky thread: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=9477...

Re: Export Multiple Fails

You can find your version of Audacity by firing it up and then clicking Help > About Audacity

You can download Audacity versions from here: http://audacityteam.org/download/
