Go to Edit > Preferences > Tracks Behaviors and change the Solo Button setting to " Multi-Track " (default setting is "Simple") Then you can click on and off as many solo buttons as you want. See the bottom of this page in the Audacity Manual: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/...

Equalization is replaced by two EQ effects Graphic EQ and Filter Curve Eq - not "removed"
