Just click in the label, delete all the text - and then one extra press of the delete or backspace key will remove the label. AFAIK there is no "master" in the Mixer Board. What you get is a panel for each track which replicates the controls from the left of each track plus a meter and an icon (not that if you give yoour tracks names like "guitar", "violin" etc the icon will change from the Au...

Don't forget that mobile phones (cell phones), transportable domestic phones and fluorescent lights can all cause or add to hum - so it's worth eliminating all that when recording.

Oops - that's what you get when a Windows speaker attempts to answer Mac questions :oops:

Even if you don't map a shortcut you can always use Tracks > Add label at playback position
