Re: DeNoise vs. Aud 1.3.12 Noise Removal
Keith, I totally agree with bgravato that you should be saving WAVs rather than auidacity projects. You could choose to save 32-bit WAVs as the best quiality - personally I save and backup 16-bit downsampled WAVs for my archive (I also plan to use them as audio files later if and when iPods get very...

Re: Audacity Adds Hiss to exported WAV
I always use fade in/out at the end of tracks and proper silence in the gap. I never get clicks with this approach.

Re: time shift increased amount of sound

Re: Books on Tape
You should think about an MP3 player or iPod that you can plug into your car. 140 hours of books will make 100-140 CDs - and that's a lot of CDs to carry around in your car or store. You could easily get the whole lot on a reasonabl size portable player and then you would always have all the books w...

Wasn't there a "Feature Request" for a "Tool Tip" that displayed the entire track name when the pointer hovered over it? Can't seem to find it now. I seem to remember Edgar writing about it and explaining why it couldn't be fone becasuse of the way the track label had been inmpl...

Re: Audacity Adds Hiss to exported WAV
I'd be very surprised if a pop/click problem at the end of a file has anything to do with dither, but do keep us informed. (did you write about the pop/click problem previously?) That was user MNicholls in this thread: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=50250 And there it turned...
