See this page: http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/UCA202.aspx
The inputs are an RCA pair - so you would need a stereo 3.5 mm minijack to RCA pair. ( i don't think the UCA-202 comes with such a lead).

Re: Audacity 1.2.6
Yes it should work - the only downside is that the headphone out will have a lttle amplifier of its own, so you may get a little bit more noise, but I doubt that that will be noticeable. But the advantage is that you should have a volume control - so you should be able to work fine with the cheaper ...

Re: Converting cassette tapes to audio CD
Oh, and you would be much better off upgrading to the latest Audacity 1.3.12 which you can get from here: http://audacityteam.org/download/ And here are the set of Tutorials from the 1.3 manual - they are similar to the ones in the Wiki that Koz pointed you at, but better structured: http://manual.a...

Re: Converting cassette tapes to audio CD
... The problem is how to handle the 463 files that Audacity makes, each one about 12 seconds. JB you don't handle all thos itty bitty files they're there for Audacity to manage... When you save an Audacity project as <project_name> it creates a number of things 1. a top level master project file c...

Re: Audacity 1.2.6
You surely must have outputs which you would normally feed to the Pre-amp or contrrol unit of your hi-fi or music system, yes? These should be line level and are normally a pair ofRCA sockets, red and white - this is the siggnal you should be able to feed to Audacity. Can you clarify does your lapto...

Re: Just need your Help I have downloaded Aud.know what to d
Try reading the manual: http://audacityteam.org/onlinehelp-1.2/contents.htm That is the 1.2 manual - you would be much better off downloading 1.3.12 the latest Audacity and using that, it has many more useful features and is usually more stable on modern machines. You can get 1.3 from here: http://a...

Re: Audacity 1.2.6
The tutorials that I sent you the links for should show you which cables connectors you need. My Nakamichi deck is connnected to my (external) soundcard with RCA-to-RCA cables. If you are using an onboard soundcard (you will need line-in not mic-in) the you will likely need an RCA pair to 3.5mm ster...

Re: Having problems
Hi, I assume that you are the peggbegg on Youtube - that posted that clip. That recording will never be rescued or cleaned - you had a massively overhot signal when you recorded it (I was jolly glad I didn't have my headphones on when I played it!)- you need to turn the wick down, the recording mete...
