Re: Normalization of stereo tracks

Following feedback from initial testing of the new functionality, Martyn has made a couple of changes that should stop the furrowed brows happening in the future: I have made a further commit that: 1) Disallows +ve values by greying out OK and Preview. 2) Converts a positive number found in prefs to...

Re: Selection Cursor Locked into Seconds

Re: Normalization of stereo tracks

I'll do. I think it would be the best solution to include a checkbox for independent l/r normalization like Cool Edit has Funny you should ask for that - there is a whole proposal under development in the Wiki: See: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Proposal_Normalize and: http://wiki.audacityteam....

Re: Noise when converting vinyl to digital

Sounds more like a poor USB connection then - which is why Koz was recommending plugging and unplugging earlier. Can you try a different USB port (not a hub)?

Re: Equal Loudness normalizing

Steve, I finally found some time to do some testing on your "Equal Loudness" effect. It works and it works on samples longer than 2 minutes. I did abandon a test on a one hour sample as the forecsat time to process was exceeding 50 minutes. The trouble is that I can't figure out what it's ...

Re: Noise when converting vinyl to digital

As Koz just said - I note from looking at the UFO202 on the Behringer website that the UFO202 has a ground connection - were you connecting the little black wire from your deck to that grounding post?

Re: Windows Registry Fix 7-Settings-

My wife recently purchased a new W7 laptop and like you she couldn't get it to record streaming audio, so based on previous recomendations from Kozikowski I got her to buy TotalRecorder (see: http://www.highcriteria.com/ cost is $17.95). This works a treat, she records with TotalRecorder and then im...
