Personally I prefer to export WAV files and then use iTunes to do the AAC conversion (iTunes does the compression quicker than Audacity).

We're curious too George - so just what did you do to fix it ?

You could try to ease the warps in the vinyl. Place the album in its sleeve and cover between two sheets of flat wood/plywood or whatever in a warm room and place some heavy (but not too heavy) weights on top. Leave in the warm room for several days and then try playing it.

Glad the Cakewalk works well for you - I use its predecessor device the UA-1EX and it has prformed excellently for me.
