Re: Wave editing using the pencil tool... an easier option?

It's also worth a look at Brian Davies' ClickRepair s/w package - costs a little but well worth it IMHO, especially if you have a lot of vinyl to process - See this sticky thread: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=1994

When you are creating a topic or a reply you should see a tab just under the Save Draft / Preview / Submit buttons at a tab which says "Upload Attachment"

Re: feedback wanted on hi-fi iPod docks

Any reason you're not just using one of these? http://kozco.com/tech/audacity/pix/RCAMiniStereo.jpg And the other reason is that both the docks I listed come with a remote - so the lazy amongst us can control (some of) the ipod's functions from the comfort of the sofa. Re: feedback wanted on hi-fi iPod docks

Hi Koz, yes I have used something similar in the past to connect my iPod to a desktop B&O system with good results - however mine needs to terminate in a 5-pin DIN plug for the (now ancient) QUAD-33 and even for the B&O - so in fact I have exactly the lead you show with a further lead with a...

I've been looking at the Arcam irDock and the Project Dock Box - Any feedback on either of those devices or any suitable alternati...

Re: Telephone number for walk through help PLEASE

Sorry Henry - there is no telephone support. This is not a commercial organizatin but rather is an Open Source project "staffed" by volunteers in their spare time.

This tutorial should hopefully help you though: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/Tuto ... _Recording

Typing Ctll+B will drop a marker with a text box at the current cursor position and Ctrl+M will drop a similar marker at the current playback or recording position. A label track will be automatically opened for you the first time ...

Re: Exported files have no sound

Ok to make things in this respect a little clearer I have: 1) Updated the manual's tutorial on recording with USB devices to add the advice that for 1.3 Beta you can use the Device Toolbar to re-set the input and output device preferences. For now this is the alternative/secondary advice (but I susp...
