Are you trying to plug in both your Mic and your UA-1G both at the same time? Audacity can only see one USB device at a time.

What you want is called crossfade. There is a crossfade effect in Audacity but it is niot a true crossfade. One of the forum elves is currently working on a new crossfade plugin - see this (longish) thread: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic ... 42&t=61498

No, but you could user the Tiner Record function (available from the Tracks menu) to set a timw window longer than the LP side.

Audacity does nothing in real tim except recording - so you would meed two computers both running Audacity to do anything like this.
