Re: DC Offset Removal - To do, or not to do ...
2) Export a 32-bit WAV "Signed 32 bit" or "32 bit float"? I have the "32 bit float" encoding and "WAV (Microsoft)" Header selected in the "Specify Uncompressed Options" dialog box - is that wrong? Since ClicKRepair is working at 24 bit float + 8 bit...

Re: Can't edit music any longer
Most likely is that you are in Pause mode and not Stop mode - hit the Stop button and then try.

Re: DC Offset Removal - To do, or not to do ...
It depends on what else you are doing. For my LP transcriptions my workflow is 1) Capture with Audacity set at 44.1kHz 32-bit float 2) Export a 32-bit WAV 3) Process the 32-bit WAV though Brian Davies' ClickRepar (which woks at 320bit - actuall 24-bit plus 8-bit mantissa according to Brian's manual...

DC Offset Removal - To do, or not to do ...
Two of my soundcards (the onboard SoundMax in my desktop and my external Edirol UA-1EX) exhibit very small amounts of of DC Offset on the signal - so small as to only be really visible under ridiculously high amplification of a quiescent signal. Amazingly the Realtek in my laptop appears to be clean...

Re: Can poor audio input be improved?
Do you have a cassette machine with all the fancy Dolby switches and filters on it? That can be the difference between getting an older tape to sound good and not. As Koz says - and it can help to clean the heads and the transport mechanism, the capstan and pinch-roller (and checking the head azimu...

1) Why is it when I have correclty placed lables between track I get the start of one track right at the end of one MP3? This is then duplciated in the next track. Its almost as if the start of the sewcond track albeit a couple of seconds has crept intgo the earlier track. Ahhhh 1.3.10 - yes that w...

The manual - After only 4 days, I'm still working on reading the entire manual (er ... pedalling as fast as I can here). The Quick Help - my Bible. The FAQ - my best friend, but only if I know I need to ask a question and then know the precise question to ask. Pop-up warning messages - Ah! Like the...

Re: Propblem Creating MP3 Files
2) Why is it that when I delete some unwanted material the subselquent labels are miswaligned. I would have thought it logical for the labels to move in line with the music where they were originally placed? And you do need either to make sure that you have the requesite sections of both the audio ...
