It's a regression on Audacity 2.3.2 - the bug was introduced in 2.3.3
And confirmed as a bug on W10 and macOS 11.0.1 Big Sur

Indeed yes, you are right this is a bug (and a regression as it used to work in earlier versions).

We changed how you access that - just right-click in the Vertical scale and select " dB " - see: https://alphamanual.audacityteam.org/man/Audio_Tracks#scale If you prefer that to be your default go to Tracks preferences and change Default waveform scale to be Logarithmic (dB) . See: https:...
