Re: File .aup turned to .au !!!
What I would do for safety is to export a WAV copy of the whole project BEFORE you do any editing.
In future immediately after capture of an unrepeatable recording session save a similar safety copy as a WAV file.

Re: File .aup turned to .au !!!
If you move all those little .au files back into the Christian Leclerc_data folder it should work (unless you have deleted or moved any of the .au files.

Re: File .aup turned to .au !!!
What the manual is telling you is that an Audacity project is made up a .aup file and an associated folder containing all the little.au files. The .au files contain little six second or so clips of the audio - the .aup file is like a recipe book telling Audacity how to assemble the project from all ...

Re: Section Labels
Sure you can add the labels while the LP is recording, that's what I ususlly do. But you do have to be careful and make sure that when you are entering the song name the focus remains on your label track - otherwise your input will be interpreted as keyboard shortcuts, in particular Space will cause...

Re: hearing recorded project
It's a device with several USB inputs and one USB output - to enable you to connect multiple USB devices. Not good for digital audio as it is very time critical.LPalmisano wrote:... What is a "hub"?
