Re: Playing LPs faster ?

Let's see.....125 LPs @ 30-50 minutes = a whole lot of coffee & beer. The flaw in that assumption is that you're only counting the recrding capture time. With proper processing to clean up any noise, tidy inter-track gaps and labelling for multiple export and the exporting of the production WAV...

Re: selecting individual tracks and editing them separately.

I would however be more than happy to share some of my ideas about how Audacity can be improved for the visually impaired community. If anyone on the Audacity team is interested in discussing this further, let me know. Perhaps via email. :) The best place to discuss new ideas for extensions to Auda...

Re: selecting individual tracks and editing them separately.

Audacity needs to make it even more accessible for the blind. I have some tips on this but I doubt anyone in the programming department would care. *laughs* ... Mock ye not (to quote Frankie Howerd) - we are very concerned about VI users and we do have VI folk on the team. In fact we have working o...

Re: Bad sound using Stereo Mix

Will also give the other recommendations for web recording. I'd almost be willing to pay for something at this point just to get rid of the adware but I don't use it that often to really justify it. As I mentioned above my wife resrted to purchasing TotalRecorder (following a useful steer from Koz)...

Re: Bad sound using Stereo Mix

So WB1 was right. Always use FreeCorder to capture in Windows. Never Audacity. Koz No Koz, WB1 was not right - both my Windows XP PCs capture perfectly ok. includind streaming audio. :) However, my wife's newer W7 laptop is a diffent kettle-of-fish - she uses TotalRecorder for web capture - as try ...

Re: Assigning Macintosh Function Keys

I look forward to that Feature Request being fulfilled. Fn Keys are way more convenient than drop-down menus. There is a good chance that a future Audacity may get this functionality, it is being worked on by one of the developers. It actually exists in the current alpha version of Audacity for tes...

This section fromthe FAQ is a good place to start: http://manual.audacityteam.org/help/manual/man/faq_about_audacity.html#How_accessible_is_Audacity_for_motion-_or_visually-impaired_users.3F In particular it links to this page inthe manual: http://manual.audacityteam.org/help/manual/man/accessibilit...
