I went to install Audacity 2.0.2 and after it going through the first insallation steps: Language, License Agreement, etc it showed a panel where it showed where it would be saved to: C:ProgramFilesAudacity and at the side of that there was "Browse" tab. So now you've got 2.0.2 installed ...

You can have both - just override the default target directory for the instllation. (I have two old versions of 1.2 along with current releases and alpha test versions on my PCs). What you can't do is run two different versions of Audacity on the same computer at the same time. You should be able to...
