Gale, I'm really surprised that you regard 30b as too difficult beginners I'm certainly no geek in this regard - I've never used a real mixing board so to a large extent you could regard me as somewant of a novice with this stuff. In which case you can split the stereo track - 1) Click in the track name in the Track control panel and select Split Stereo Track 2) operate on either track independently 3) rejoin the tracks by clicking in the trackname in the TCP of the top track of the two and select Make Stereo Track Hey presto...

My preferred version is version 30 +1 for #30 It's relatively straightforward and understandable - and it's quite powerful without being dauntingly complex, so should encourage users to experiment. We all know it's not perfect but it would be much better imo to get it formally released so that more...

You could alway click on the split line (yes this will remove it) bt then click Ctrl+B to place a temporary label at that point. One click on a split line does not place the cursor on the position clicked. Oh yes, I see what you mean ... So then to do this you have to get the cursor just right, cli...
