It sounds to me like the call to prayer that you get in Muslim countries where the Muezzin's call is relayed from usually multiple speakers set at right angles at the top of a tower.

IIRC I think there is a long-standing FR in the Wiki for grids (optional/switchable) on the audio track displays - both Spectrogram and Waveform.

I see that and in the same colours that Trebor posts - but it is very hard to spot (but using the ear first and labelling a small range around it helps to home in). Even Brian Davies' normally excellent ClickRepair (on its default "Mono" setting) couldn't catch that click. Nice work Trebor...

Personally I find it easier to manage my metadata in iTunes. I just export a set of WAVs labelled 01 <song_1>, 02 <song-2> ... then import those WAVs into iTunes,and use iTunes to convert to AAC and then manage the metadata.
