Re: Normalize
I tend to add my labels while the LP is recording (this is somewhat of an advanced rechnique but it saves me a lot of time). But you have to be careful that focus remains on the label and label track as you do that as otherwise keystrokes can be interpreted as keyboard shortcuts and operate on the r...
Re: Normalize
It's the same regardless - provided you select the whole recording, rather than individual songs, to Normalize.

Re: Audacity Loop Bug?
Most forums would not of been so eloquent, nor so assisting. I expected someone to scream "Why would you even need that? INB4LOCK LOL" Thanks for the feedback Zoe. We work hard to make this forum a sane and family-friendly corner of cyberspace - and for us this forum is an important corne...

Re: Automatic removal of mouth smacks
@Paul: Ok I tried tour DeClicker (you made it hard for me to spot it the Effects list as it's not called DeClicker there :) ) I tried it with your default settings and with Trebor's settings - it made some dent in the clicks on an old 45 but nowhere near enough - and certainly nothing like as good a...

Re: Delete extraneous labels
I doubt that there would be much enthusiasm for adding just one right click option for label tracks, but the developers don't like to review huge patches either, so perhaps I'll see if I can get it committed as "experimental" while we sort out other useful right click label track items. B...

Re: Delete extraneous labels
The other cute trick you can use to delete a label or group of labels (but perhaps not useful in this case as the extraneous labels are clumped with a label that is required) is to select over the labels with click and drag, just in the label track and NOT in the audio track - then use the keyboard ...

Re: Automatic removal of mouth smacks
I am not developing this for purposes of cleanup of captures from radio or tape or vinyl, but perhaps it will be suited for that too. Maybe one of you will try it. waxcylinder? Yes I can give it a spin - I'm shortly to de-commission my turntable (as I've finished all my and my wife's vinyl transfer...

Re: Silence Finder - Track name = track # ?
The (simple) "Album Track Marker" produces empty labels, so if the user wants to number them manually they can just tab across into each one and enter the number (or other text) and they don't need to delete an "S". Ah, but ernie said he has 170 tracks   that's a lo...

Re: Silence Finder - Track name = track # ?
@Steve: doesn't your Album Track Marker do this sequential numbering? It's bee a while since I tested it for you so I can't remember properly.
