You can either compress it by Exporting as an MP3 (you will need to also install LAME to do this - see: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/faq_installation_and_plug_ins.html#lame But it may be easier to use DropBox, SendSpace or similar where you can upload larger files like this for your friends ...

Waxcylinder is extremely pleased to know that - apart from any other consideration, about 95% of my vinyl collection went to the Oxfam charity shop when we moved house 8-)
