Click Repair does have a steep learning curve (IMO) if you want to get the absolute best out of it, even though it gives good results without too much effort. As a user of both Audacity and ClickRepair I'd have the temerity to say that Audacity has the steeper learning curve of the two ... 8-) @Sha...

Because it is not an Audacity problem, of course upgrading to the latest Audacity won't solve it. But unless you have very good reasons not to upgrade, you should always have the latest Audacity version, because it will have the latest stable features and the latest bug fixes. ;) Plus, the develope...

Would make the good basis of a sound-track for SCUBA diving videos (would make a great change from the ubiquitous Enya stuff that most diver videographers used a few years ago ... ) 8-)

What I would try doing is: 1) Selec t the glitch (as you have in your image) 2) Delete that section of audio - it's quite short 3) Just pop a temporary label there with Ctrl+B as a marker 4) zoom out and use use the Repair tool on the audi surrounding the ex-glitch 5) listen to the result to test it...
