Re: A more accessible way to set up latency correction

Bump I can see Gales succinct summary from 16Jan: There are three "features" to vote on: •Polishing and Wiki-publishing Robert's plug-in to measure time difference between clicks in two selected tracks (I think there are still some confusions in that plug-in that users could trip over, but...

Re: Basic recording problem

The easiest way to delete a track is to click in the little black x at the top left of its Track Control Panel (the bit at the left of the blue waves) see: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/audio_tracks.html#panel . You will probably find this set of tutorials from the Audacity Manual useful: htt...

Re: Can Audacity do this? rip radio into separate tracks

I wonder about the ability of the paid-for apps to properly divide up radio broadcasts into individual tracks as there is not silence between the tracks there is DJ "chat" and sometimes cross-fade (unlike an LP or tape transcription where the inter-track gap is silent enough for reasonably...

See this tutorial in the manual: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/tutorial_recording_audio_playing_on_the_computer.html ... AND separate the tracks into individual mp3's fo...

Re: Single track editing.

Or you can do the time shifting that Koz advocates and the select all tracks and use Tracks > Mix and Render - this will mix all the tracks into a single track.

See This page in the Manual: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/tr ... and_Render
