Fundamentally, "poor" or "artificial-sounding" representation of "sound stage" (where the instruments are placed left-right and back-front in a believable ambience, and how the instruments blend into each other). Ooh I do like riding this hobby-horse around the paddock...

Did you still have an instance of 2.0.5 running - if so then trying to launch 2.0.6 will cause another instance of the already running 2.0.5 to start up.

If you're trying to export MP3s for use in iTunes/iPod/iPad/iPhone - then you nay find it easier to export WAV files from Audacity and use ITunes to covert those to MP3. The red "clip indicator" lines on the waveform do not mean that the audio IS clipped. They warn that the peak level is 0 dB or greater so it "may" be clipped. Agreed, but the Manual implies the red line means outside -1/+1 http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/view_menu.html#show...
