Re: Differences between analogue & digital mixing?

Fundamentally, "poor" or "artificial-sounding" representation of "sound stage" (where the instruments are placed left-right and back-front in a believable ambience, and how the instruments blend into each other). Ooh I do like riding this hobby-horse around the paddock...

Re: 2.0.6 is still 2.0.5?

Did you still have an instance of 2.0.5 running - if so then trying to launch 2.0.6 will cause another instance of the already running 2.0.5 to start up.

Re: saving

If you're trying to export MP3s for use in iTunes/iPod/iPad/iPhone - then you nay find it easier to export WAV files from Audacity and use ITunes to covert those to MP3. Re: tracks loading as hot

The red "clip indicator" lines on the waveform do not mean that the audio IS clipped. They warn that the peak level is 0 dB or greater so it "may" be clipped. Agreed, but the Manual implies the red line means outside -1/+1 http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/view_menu.html#show...

I note that since Gale's last summary post, no voting has been requested.

So just what do we do with this thread? Just archive it?

Re: Feature request: Moving tracks

I'm lost following this thread :?

Is there a Feature Request emerging here - or a proposal forthcoming?

Or can I just archive this thread as is has run-o-round for a month now?

Re: Discontinuous, and spectral selections

Do I assume correctly that this relates to the "Experimental Spectral Patch" that Paul has been posting about in -devel?

And if so I'm assuming that I can just delete this thread - unless, that is, anyone wants me to archive it?
