Re: No loop playback button?

You guys have completely doped the timeline bar, it's perfect. Right now in 2.1.1, wherever you select, it starts playing automatically. Simply awesome, I've been looking for this since forever. Thank you! Well you have to thank Steve for the recent development on the Timeline. I did a lot of the Q...

Re: Confusing interaction track and global Spectrogram setti

3) Left-Clicking on the LDPBT or track name for any of the selected tracks and making changes in the dropdown menu and in View Settings affect all selected tracks. We already have a menu for making changes in the selected tracks http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/tracks_menu.html OK - so building...

Re: Confusing interaction track and global Spectrogram setti

I propose a simpler solution: 1) Remove Preferences Spectrograms. 2) User selects the set of tracks to be acted on. 3) Left-Clicking on the LDPBT or track name for any of the selected tracks and making changes in the dropdown menu and in View Settings affect all selected tracks. This has the advanta...

Re: c command to play before/after cut

Cut preview can exhibit slightly odd behavior if the selection is close to the beginning or end of the audio - closer than the settings in Edit>Preferences>Playback, particularly if it's close to the beginning where it tries to play negative time where there is no audio. I will file this as a minor...

Re: c command to play before/after cut

If you hold the Ctrl button and then press the Play button does it play the cut preview? Note that when you hold the Ctrl button down the Play button icon changes to one with a vertical gap in the green triangle as a visual cue to indicate cut preview. Cut preview can exhibit slightly odd behavior i...
